The HydraFacial, also referred to as Hydra-Dermabrasion, is similar to traditional microdermabrasion in that it deeply exfoliates the skin. Unlike traditional microdermabrasion, which uses aluminum oxide crystals, HydraFacial thoroughly cares for your skin, providing cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, and hydration, using a patented Vortex-Fusion® of antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. This treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating, non-invasive, non-surgical, and immediately effective.
During the Hydrafacial treatment, a small wand is glided over the skin using various plastic tips and motions, specifically designed for each step in the process. The first step of the process uses a tip that essentially works like a “vortex” to clean out dirt and debris from deep within your pores. Additionally, during this step, the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin are exfoliated with a series of chemical exfoliants such as lactic acid, glycolic acid salicylic acid. The second step of the HydraFacial uses a tip that extracts or vacuums any remaining debris from clogged pores. The final step of the HydraFacial involves deep hydration by applying a hydrating serum consisting of hyaluronic acid and peptides to the skin.
During the Deluxe HydraFacial treatment, a personalized booster serum is applied to the skin to address specific skin concerns for each client. Once the Booster serum is applied, you will relax under the red and/or blue LED lights of the LightStim device. Each HydraFacial treatment is fully customizable to each client’s skincare needs and concerns.
